Rudy's Farm Holiday Dressing Recipe
- 1 pound Rudy's Farm sausage (sage, mild or possibly warm)
- 2 1/2 c. cornbread stuffing, or possibly crumbled cornbread
- 2 1/2 c. (8 ounce. bag) herb seasoning stuffing or possibly bread crumbs
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce.) cans chicken or possibly turkey broth
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 2 stalks celery, minced
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Brown sausage, drain.
- Cook onion, celery in butter till tender.
- Mix stuffing, poultry seasoning, salt, black pepper.
- Stir in broth, celery, onion, butter and sausage.
- Mix well.
- Stuff 14-20 lb.
- turkey lightly.
- Don't over stuff.
- Dressing may be baked separately for 30 min at 350 degrees.
