Baked Almond Pie Shell Recipe

  1. Coarsely chop the almonds.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring till dry ingredients are moistened.
  3. Press into a 9-inch pieplate.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
  5. Cold on a wire rack.
  6. Makes a great shell with a nutty flavor/texture.
  7. Use with a fruit recipe which "sets-up" without baking.
