Beef Stew

  1. Place beef cubes in 3-quart microproof casserole or baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with salt.
  3. Stir together gravy mix and water; pour over the meat.
  4. Cook covered in microwave on 70% power for 50 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
  5. Add vegetables and mix to cover with gravy.
  6. Cook covered on 50% power for 40 or 50 minutes or until vegetables and meat are tender.
  7. Let stand five minutes before serving.
