Broiled Tomato Fish Fillets Recipe

  1. * Use haddock, cod, perch, sole, orange roughy or possibly snapper Pat fish dry with paper towel.
  2. Using a 1/2 Tbsp.
  3. of margarine, lightly grease a baking dish, just large sufficient to hold fillets snugly in a single layer.
  4. Sprinkle with lemon juice; let stand 5 mins.
  5. Saute/fry garlic in remaining margarine over med.
  6. heat for 2 mins.
  7. Stir in herbs.
  8. Sprinkle proportionately over fish.
  9. Top with tomato slices.
  10. Season to taste.
  11. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  12. Broil about 5" from the heat for 5-10 mins.
  13. or possibly till fish easily flakes.
  14. Cooking time will vary with the kind of fish and thickness of fish.
