Egg Rolls Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. Italian sausage
- 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
- 1 med. to lg. head cabbage
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 sm. can tuna, liquid removed
- 1 sm. can tiny shrimp, liquid removed
- 1 sm. can clams, liquid removed
- Cook together sausage and hamburger till done.
- Drain very well.
- (I do this ahead of time and let set for an hour or possibly so, stirring occasionally.)
- Cut cabbage into long thin strips.
- Cook with very little water on low heat till done, but still hard.
- Drain very well.
- Sprinkle sufficient soy sauce on cabbage just till moist (approximately 3 tbsp.).
- Add in to meat.
- Add in all ingredients together.
- Roll up in egg roll wraps.
- Fry in warm oil, turning once.
- Dip in warm mustard or possibly a sweet-n-sour sauce.
- Makes approximately 30 egg rolls.
- Ingredients for an egg roll is limitless.
- You can use any kind of Chinese vegetables or possibly fresh vegetables (cooked just till tender) or possibly any meat combination.
- We also like breakfast egg rolls made with sausage, Large eggs and cheese rolled up.
