Pecan Pork Chops Recipe
- 6 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. pecans
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 6 center cut chops, 1 1/2" thick with pocket for stuffing
- 1/2 c. apple juice
- In large skillet heat 4 Tbsp.
- butter over medium heat.
- Add in celery, pecans and onion, saute/fry till tender.
- Fold in stuffing mix, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Stuff mix into pork chops.
- Heat remaining butter in skillet, slowly brown chops on both sides.
- Transfer to shallow baking dish, pour apple juice over chops.
- Cover, bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till tender.
