Easy Marinated Octopus and Onion
- 150 grams Sashimi-grade boiled octopus
- 1/2 large Onion
- 1 clove Garlic (sliced)
- 1 Parsley (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Vinegar (apple or rice vinegar)
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 Salt
- 1 Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon Olive oil
- Slice the onion thinly along the grain.
- Slice all parts of the octopus, except for the web of skin between its tentacles, on the diagonal.
- Put the ingredients in a bowl, mix, and add the cut octopus from Step 1, parsley, and garlic, and mix thoroughly.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let it chill for a while in the refrigerator, then it's ready to serve.
- Try the same recipe for salmon.
- For salmon, you can mix the ingredients right before serving.
- The sauce will help retain the color of the salmon.
