Smoked Sausage Jambalaya Recipe
- 1 c. instant rice, cooked
- 1 pound Hillshire smoked sausage, cut into 2 inch pcs
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. green pepper, minced
- 1/2 c. celery, minced
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomatoes
- 4 drops warm pepper sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Heat in large skillet, sausage, onion, green pepper and celery, saute/fry till tender.
- Add in tomatoes, warm sauce and pepper.
- Stir rice into sausage mix.
- Cook over low heat, stirring frequently till thoroughly heated.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
