Hazelnut-Chocolate Truffles

  1. Bring cream to a boil in medium saucepan over med-high heat.
  2. Whisk in bittersweet chocolate, butter and liqueur until well combined.
  3. Chill at least 2 hours.
  4. Place hazelnuts on baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until they are toasted.
  6. Place warm nuts in a dish towel and rub vigorously to remove skins.
  7. Process toasted nuts in a food processor until medium ground.
  8. Place in shallow dish.
  9. Shape chocolate mixture into 1-inch balls.
  10. Melt 1/2 cup semisweet chips in small saucepan over low heat.
  11. Roll each ball in chocolate letting excess drip back into saucepan and roll immediately in the nuts.
  12. Cover and chill.
