Beef Jerky Recipe

  1. Cut meat into strips with grain.
  2. Dissolve salt in the water, add in remaining ingredients.
  3. Soak meat in the mix 2 or possibly more hrs turning strips frequently so each piece is drenched.
  4. Drain.
  5. Place on oven rack.
  6. Turn heat on to 120-130 degrees and cook at this temperature for 8-9 hrs with oven door open slightly.
  7. Turn off heat, open oven door and let air dry for 8 hrs more.
  8. Pack in jars or possibly bags.
