Homemade Yeast Biscuits Recipe

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the hot water and set aside.
  2. Combine the baking pwdr, salt, baking soda and flour.
  3. Cut in shortening; add in the buttermilk, sugar and yeast mix.
  4. Knead the dough slightly.
  5. Put in a covered bowl and chill till chilled.
  6. Roll out dough and cut.
  7. Bake biscuits very slowly at 200 degree till golden.
