Fettucine Alfredo Make-Over

  1. Cook fettuccine as desired.
  2. Drain; keep warm.
  3. Melt margarine in large skillet over low heat; stir in flour, pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually stir in half & half.
  5. Cook on low heat 5 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly, stirring frequently.
  6. Stir in cheese and cook just until cheese is melted, stirring constantly.
  7. Immediately stir in cooked fettuccine; toss to coat with sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with parsley; serve immediately.
