Sirloin Tip Goulash Recipe

  1. Combine flour and pepper; coat meat cubes with flour mix.
  2. In a large skillet, brown meat in warm oil.
  3. Add in onion and garlic to the skillet; cook till onion is tender.
  4. Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, water, brown sugar, paprika, salt, marjoram, and pepper; stir into skillet.
  5. Spoon meat mix into a 2-qt casserole.
  6. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs.
  7. Remove from oven and stir in mushroom halves.
  8. Cover and bake for 8 to 10 min more or possibly till meat is tender.
  9. To serve, spoon goulash over warm egg noodles with poppy seeds; top with minced parsley.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
