Helpful cookie baking tips
- Allow ingredients like butter and eggs to come to room temperature before using
- Measure ingredients carefully; when baking ,exact amounts make a difference
- Do not overmix cookie dough as it will result in a tough product
- Use bright shiny aluminum cookie sheets, rather then dark ones to prevent over-browning
- Bake cookies on the middle rack in the oven
- Cookies will continue to bake after they are removed from the oven, so be sure to transfer carefully to a wire rack to cool
