Hot Chicken Salad
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1 cup crouton, plus some for the top of the dish
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon onion, minced
- 12 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 14 cup slivered almonds
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix well.
- Put the mixture into a casserole dish.
- Press some croutons into the dish.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
