Jewelled Layered Salad

  1. Toss apples with lemon juice; drain.
  2. Place in 4-L glass bowl.
  3. Add cranberries; mix lightly.
  4. Cover with layers of spinach, cheese, dressing and onions.
  5. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  6. Add nuts just before serving; mix lightly.
