Cranberry-Pear Chutney
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 (16 ounce) canwhole-berry cranberry sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) cansliced pears, drained and each slice cut in half
- 12 cup seedless raisin
- 14 cup cider vinegar
- 14 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add the onion and garlic; cook and stir for 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low.
- Cook for 20 minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Serve warm with roast turkey, pork roast or baked ham.
