Mincemeat Bran Bars
- 1 12 cups flour
- 14 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon natural bran
- 12 cup rolled oats
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 34 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 12 cups mincemeat
- finely grated peel of one orange
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 (10 ounce) can mandarin orange segments
- Preheat oven to 350F Grease a 9-inch square pan.
- Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir in oats, bran and sugar, Work in butter with a fork until crumbly.
- press into pan.
- Stir in mincemeat with peel and cinnamon.
- Spread over base.
- Drain mandarin oranges, gently press into mincemeat.
- Bake 40 minutes.
- Cool and refrigerate.
