Chipper Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

• 1 c. butter
• 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/4 c. flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 c. old fashioned or possibly quick oats, uncooked
• 6 ounce. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pcs
• 1 c. minced pecans

1. Cream butter and sugars till light and fluffy.
2. Blend in Large eggs and vanilla.
3. Add in combined flour, soda and salt; mix well.
4. Stir in oats, chocolate pcs and nuts.
5. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 min or possibly till golden.
7. Yield: approximately 5 dozen.
