Peanut Butter Cups & Peppermint Patties

  1. Divide fondant ball into two pieces.
  2. Peanut butter cups:-----------------------------------------------------------------------.
  3. Add peanut butter to half of the fondant ball.
  4. Roll about 1 T. of peanut butter fondant into a ball and flatten slightly with your palm.
  5. Repeat with all the peanut butter fondant.
  6. This makes the centers for the peanut butter cups.
  7. Set out a mini-muffin cup for each of the peanut butter centers you made.
  8. Melt half the chocolate microwave on half-power.
  9. Stir every 30 seconds until smooth and DON'T overheat.
  10. Pour a little melted chocolate in the bottom of a mini-muffin cup and place a peanut butter center on top of the chocolate.
  11. Fill the cup about 3/4 full of chocolate.
  12. Save your "dirty" chocolate dish, you'll use it again.
  13. Allow chocolate to harden and peanut butter cups are finished!
  14. Peppermint Patties:-----------------------------------------------------------------------.
  15. Add peppermint extract to the 2nd half of the fondant ball.
  16. Roll about 1 T. of the peppermint fondant into a ball and flatten slightly with your palm.
  17. Repeat with all the peppermint fondant.
  18. This makes the centers for the peppermint patties.
  19. Set out a mini-muffin cup for each of the peppermint centers you made.
  20. Melt half the chocolate microwave on half-power.
  21. Stir every 30 seconds until smooth and DON'T overheat.
  22. Pour a little melted chocolate in the bottom of a mini-muffin cup and place a peppermint center on top of the chocolate.
  23. Fill the cup about 3/4 full of chocolate.
  24. Allow chocolate to harden and peppermint patties are finished!
  25. Keep some for yourself and give the rest as gifts!
