Shrimp and Onions in a Mild Aurora Sauce

  1. Shell the shrimp and do the preliminary prepping; season with flavoring.
  2. Thinly slice the onions, and whisk the eggs.
  3. Don't throw out the shrimp shells .
  4. Use them in my furikake recipe -.
  5. Pour oil (not listed) in a pan, saute the ginger and garlic until aromatic, and brown the seasoned shrimp on both sides.
  6. You do not have to cook them all the way through, browning it is enough.
  7. Momentarily take out the shrimp from step 3, and saute the thinly sliced onions in the same pan.
  8. Add the shrimp back into the pan once the onions have wilted, and flavor with the sauce.
  9. Add the whisked eggs once the shrimp has become evenly coated in the sauce...
  10. Scatter green onions for the finishing touch.
  11. I ate this dish for lunch right after I gave birth to my second son, so it's full of memories for me!
