Grilled Ham and Egg Salad Monte Cristos

  1. Combine hard-cooked eggs, ham, celery, onion, mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, salt and pepper; spread on six slices of bread.
  2. Top with remaining bread and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk batter ingredients until well blended.
  4. Heat about 1/2 inches of oil in a large deep skillet.
  5. Dip sandwiches into batter.
  6. Fry in hot oil for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
