German Layered Apple Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
  2. Grease lightly a 13x9 inch pan.
  3. Layer 1/2 apples evenly in pan.
  4. In large bowl, mix dry cake mix, cinnamon, water, butter, and eggs on low until smooth.
  5. Then beat 2 min.
  6. on high.
  7. Stir in nuts.
  8. Pour 1/2 batter evenly over apples and repeat layers.
  9. Bake for 40 to 50 min.
  10. or until tooghpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool in pan.
  12. For frosting, in small bowl blend frostind ingredients until smooth.
