Dark Chocolate Mulled Wine Sauce

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a simmer.
  2. Cook 5 minutes.
  3. Discard sachet.
  4. Add cocoa and corn syrup, stirring with a whisk until smooth.
  5. Simmer 2 minutes; remove from heat.
  6. Add chocolate, stirring until chocolate melts.
  7. Cool to room temperature.
