Cactus Pear Margaritas
- 8 oz. white (blanco) tequila
- 4 oz. Cointreau or other orange flavored liqueur
- 4 oz. cactus pear juice
- 2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 c. ice cubes
- Lime wedges
- Coarse salt (optional)
- Place the tequila, Cointreau, cactus pear and lime juices, and ice in a blender and pulse until smooth.
- If using salt for garnish, rub a lime wedge around the rims of the glasses and dip the rims into a saucer of coarse salt.
- Divide the mixture among 4 margarita glasses; garnish each with a lime wedge.
