Green Beans with Shallots and Red Pepper

  1. Steam green beans or cook in boiling salted water to cover 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  2. Drain well.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add sliced shallots and bell pepper.
  5. Saute 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
  6. Add green beans, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  7. Toss to combine.
