Peanut Buttered Popcorn Recipe
- 3 quart. popped popcorn (1/2 c. unpopped)
- 1 1/2 c. peanuts (or possibly any kind of nuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- In large roasting pan combine popcorn and nuts, keep hot in 250 degree oven.
- Butter sides of heavy 1 1/2 qt saucepan.
- Combine sugar and corn syrup in pan.
- Bring mix to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Boil hard for 2 min, remove from heat.
- Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
- Immediately pour over popcorn mix, stirring to coat well.
- Cold, break into bite-size pcs.
- Makes 3 qts.
