Chicken, Mushroom Soup, And Barley Recipe

  2. In large saucepan, saute/fry vegetables in butter for 10 min.

  4. Stir in flour.
  5. Add in the broth and heat, stirring constantly, till mix comes to a boil.

  7. Add in barley.
  8. Cover and simmer soup till barley is cooked through,, about 1 hour.

  10. Stir in the lowfat milk, meat, salt, and pepper.
  11. Heat thoroughly and serve.
  12. Serves 8.
