Stuffed Peppers

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Chop 1 medium onion and 2 garlic cloves.
  3. In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium low heat; add onion then garlic and cook until they are just browned.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until meat is browned all the way through.
  5. Drain grease if necessary.
  6. In a medium bowl, mix ground beef mixture, cooked rice, canned tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings together.
  7. Cut tops off peppers and discard the tops.
  8. (Or give to your doggies).
  9. Clear out seeds.
  10. Stuff the filling mixture into the peppers until they are full, but not overly stuffed.
  11. (You dont want stuff spilling onto the pan while they cook!)
  12. Place peppers into a baking dish.
  13. Bake for 35 minutes.
  14. Then add 1 tablespoon of cheese to each pepper and bake for an addition 3-4 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
