Stuffed Peppers
- 1 whole Medium Onion
- 2 whole Garlic Cloves
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 5 ounces, weight Ground Beef
- 1/2 cups To 3/4 Cup Cooked Rice
- 8 ounces, weight Canned Tomatoes
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 18 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 2 whole Medium Bell Peppers
- 2 Tablespoons Cheddar Cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease a baking sheet.
- Chop 1 medium onion and 2 garlic cloves.
- In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium low heat; add onion then garlic and cook until they are just browned.
- Add ground beef and cook until meat is browned all the way through.
- Drain grease if necessary.
- In a medium bowl, mix ground beef mixture, cooked rice, canned tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings together.
- Cut tops off peppers and discard the tops.
- (Or give to your doggies).
- Clear out seeds.
- Stuff the filling mixture into the peppers until they are full, but not overly stuffed.
- (You dont want stuff spilling onto the pan while they cook!)
- Place peppers into a baking dish.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
- Then add 1 tablespoon of cheese to each pepper and bake for an addition 3-4 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
