Light and Rich Japanese-style Steak with Grated Daikon Radish
- 2 Pork for steak
- 5 cm Daikon radish
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 Salt and pepper
- Cut slits in the pork and pound using the back of the knife, then season with salt and pepper.
- Combine the ingredients and grate the daikon.
- Heat a pan and sear the pork on both sides, Cover with a lid and steam.
- Insert a skewer in the meat and if the liquid runs clear, add the ingredients and turn off the heat.
- If the liquid does not run clear, cook a little longer.
- Remove the pork from the pan and cut into bite-size pieces.
- Place the pork on a plate and top with grated daikon.
- Pour over the hot sauce and enjoy.
