Easy and Smooth Sweet Potato Dessert
- 350 grams Steamed sweet potatoes
- 20 grams Butter (or margarine)
- 50 grams Sugar
- 45 grams Milk
- 5 grams Rum
- 1 Egg yolk
- Prepare the food processor.
- Cook quickly while the steamed sweet potatoes are still warm.
- Add all the ingredients into the food processor, and mix.
- If it's hard to mix, add 1 teaspoon of milk at a time to make the mixture smooth.
- When it becomes smooth, transfer into an icing bag, and squeeze it out.
- The consistency should be the same as soft koshi-an (smooth sweet red bean paste).
- It's easy to squeeze out the mixture while it's still warm.
- Brush with the egg yolk or milk (excluded from the ingredients) on the surfaces of the sweet potato dessert to make them lustrous if you would like.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200C, and they're done.
- When baked, the surfaces are lightly browned.
