Spinach & Mashed Tofu with Homemade Sesame Miso Dressing
- 1 bunch Spinach
- 1/2 block Firm tofu
- 1/2 tsp Miso
- 4 tbsp Sesame sauce granules
- 1 tbsp Roasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Ground sesame seeds
- 1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/3 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Miso
- Drain the tofu by breaking it into large pieces and place into a colander.
- If you're in a hurry, lay a small plate on top!
- Boil the spinach in salted water.
- When done, drain the water and cut into 4-5 cm long pieces.
- Wring out the excess water.
- Combine the drained tofu, sesame sauce granules, and miso in a bowl.
- You don't need to use a mortar and pestle to mix, just use a spoon or fork!
- You can enjoy the texture of the grains of sesame.
- Taste and adjust the flavor as needed.
- Once seasoned, add the wrung out spinach.
- If you don't have sesame sauce granules, add the ingredients listed above and mix in the same fashion.
