Chicken Strips In Garlic And Butter Recipe
- 2 lbs. chicken strips
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 c. butter
- 1 can condensed chicken broth
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over chicken.
- Dust chicken strips with flour.
- Heat 1/2 c. of the butter and 2 cloves of the chopped garlic in frying pan.
- Heat remaining 1/2 c. of butter and 1 clove of garlic in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Saute/fry the chicken strips in the garlic butter.
- (I add in about 2 Tbsp.
- of extra virgin olive oil to keep the butter from burning).
- When chicken is golden brown remove to the baking dish.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
- Pour can of broth over chicken.
- Bake at 325 degrees uncovered for 30-35 min.
- Stir occasionally - serve over rice.
- May be prepared ahead of time - just add in 10-15 min to baking time.
