Roast Beef

  1. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Grate 1 clove of garlic, rub it in, then let sit at room temperature (about 30 minutes).
  3. Heat slowly in a frying pan with vegetable oil (and the fat of the beef), pressing down with a spatula as you grill.
  4. Grill the four edges and both sides of the block for about 1 minute each.
  5. Transfer to a double layer of aluminum foil, then wrap.
  6. Then, wrap in a kitchen towel and let rest for 20 minutes.
  7. I sliced into 25 -30 mm thick slices.
  8. Serve with this Japonesque sauce See.
