White Chili

  1. Saute onions in oil till translucent.
  2. Add garlic, chilies, cumin, oregano, and cayenne; cook 2 more minutes.
  3. Add beans (with liquid) and broth; bring to boil.
  4. Reduce heat.
  5. Add chicken and cheese.
  6. Stir till cheese melts.
  7. (If cheese is not done just right, it will be stringy.)
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Ladle into bowls.
  10. Garnish with a dollop of sour cream.
