Portuguese Soup
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound chorizo sausage smoked, diced
- 1 pound potatoes peeled, diced
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can tomatoes diced
- 1/2 each cabbage chopped
- 1 medium onions chopped
- 1 large carrots diced
- 1/2 each sweet red bell peppers diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- Combine all ingredients in large pot.
- Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat; simmer until thick, stirring occasionally, about 2 hours.
- Season with pepper.
