Sticky Cinnamon Buns

  1. Mash
  2. potato
  3. and water through a colander.
  4. Add enough warm water to make 2 cups.
  5. Addthe
  6. sugar
  7. and
  8. yeast;
  9. let stand for 5 minutes.tdd the salt,
  10. flour, lard or Crisco and beaten eggs; mix until smooth.
  11. Add about

  13. 1/2
  14. to
  15. 4 cups flour to make a medium stiff
  16. dough.
  17. Cover;
  18. let
  19. rise
  20. until double in bulk. Prepare pans (9 x
  21. 13
  22. x
  23. 2-inch oblong and a 9-inch
  24. round cake pan); grease
  25. generously
  26. with
  27. Crisco
  28. and drizzle generously with dark Karo syrup in pan until bottom of pan is covered. Spread soft
  29. butter over Karo.
  30. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
