Sweet and Salty Atsuage Cheese Bake
- 1 piece Atsuage
- 1 as liked Easy melting cheese
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 3 tbsp Mirin
- Pour boiling water over the atsuage to remove any excess oil, then chop it up into bite-sizes.
- Mix the ingredients in a frying pan and bring to a boil.
- Add the atsuage to the same frying pan.
- Turn it over once in a while and simmer to reduce the sauce.
- Line up the atsuage on a heatproof dish.
- Top with melting cheese.
- Bake for 4-5 minutes in a toaster oven to finish.
