Peppermint Crunch Cookies
- 1 12 cups butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 tablespoons baking powder
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 12 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 cups crushed peppermint candies (candy canes)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream butter.
- Add sugar and blend until light.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.
- Sift dry ingredients and add to butter/sugar/egg batter in two batches alternating with milk.
- Stir in crushed candy.
- Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
- Makes five dozen.
