Peppermint Crunch Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream butter.
  3. Add sugar and blend until light.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.
  5. Sift dry ingredients and add to butter/sugar/egg batter in two batches alternating with milk.
  6. Stir in crushed candy.
  7. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
  8. Makes five dozen.
