Brioche Loaf Recipe
- 1 1/2 Lb Loaf:
- 1 3/4 tsp yeast
- 1 3/4 c. Bread Flour + 2 Tablespoons
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 x egg yolk
- 1/4 c. Water + 2T
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- Makes 1 1/2 lb loaf.
- Follow manufactures instructions for basic bread cycle BUT: cut butter into tbs size pcs and begin adding butter 1 tbs each minute 10 min before the end of the kneading cycle.This is done because of the large porportion of butter needs to be adequately absorbed.
- Produces a light, rich.,sweet loaf .Note: as with any bread machine recipe, you may have to slightly adjust the flour and or possibly water to get the right bread machine consistency.
