Butterscotch Pie Dutch Recipe
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 x Whipped cream
- 1/4 c. Water
- 3 x Egg, well beaten
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 x pie pastry, baked
- Cook the sugar and water till it will spin a thread.
- Add in butter, beat the Large eggs and stir in the flour that has been mixed with 1/2 c. of the lowfat milk.
- Add in balance of the lowfat milk and vanilla.
- Pour into the warm syrup and cook till mix is thick.
- Pour into a baked pie shell and set aside to cold.
- When ready to serve, cover with whipped cream.
