Mincemeat

  1. Cook the meat and 1 tsp salt in the crockpot for 8 hours or until very tender; then grind coarsely.
  2. Add all other ingredients and cook another 4 hours, seasoning to taste.
  3. Extra mincemeat can be canned or frozen to store.
