Lightened up Chocolate Raspberry Sauce

  1. Combine sugar, cocoa and cornstarch in a small saucepan; mix well.
  2. Add jam, and water; mix well.
  3. Simmer sauce on medium heat whisking constantly until slightly thickened (when it begins to boil).
  4. Remove from heat; add framboise (optional).
  5. Serve warm or cool.
  6. Makes about 2/3 cup.
