Butterscotch Fudge Bars Recipe

  1. BAKE at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 min.
  2. MAKES about 3 dozen.
  3. Sifttogether the flour and soda.
  4. Beat Large eggs till foamy.
  5. Gradually add in brown sugar and continue beating till well blended.
  6. Stir in 1/2 c. butter, melted, unsweetened chocolate, and vanilla.
  7. Add in the sifted dry ingredients and nuts.
  8. Mix thoroughly.
  9. Turn into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  10. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 25 to 35 min.
  11. (For a very moist bar, bake only 25 min.)
  12. Cold.
  13. Drizzle with a mix of melted chocolate and 1 tsp.
  14. butter.
  15. Cut into bars or possibly squares.
  16. *For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit soda.
