Butterscotch Fudge Bars Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. Pillsbury's Best All-Purpose Flour*, sifted
- 1/2 tsp Soda
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Butter, melted
- 1 ounce Unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1 tsp French's Vanilla
- 3/4 c. Funsten's Nuts, minced
- 1 ounce Chocolate, melted
- 1 tsp Butter
- BAKE at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 min.
- MAKES about 3 dozen.
- Sifttogether the flour and soda.
- Beat Large eggs till foamy.
- Gradually add in brown sugar and continue beating till well blended.
- Stir in 1/2 c. butter, melted, unsweetened chocolate, and vanilla.
- Add in the sifted dry ingredients and nuts.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Turn into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 25 to 35 min.
- (For a very moist bar, bake only 25 min.)
- Cold.
- Drizzle with a mix of melted chocolate and 1 tsp.
- butter.
- Cut into bars or possibly squares.
- *For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit soda.
