Custard Pies Recipe
- 6 Large eggs, separated
- 2 c. Pet lowfat milk
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 c. lowfat milk, heated
- 3 teaspoon vanilla
- Salt
- Cinnamon (sprinkle on top, if you like)
- Slightly beat egg yolks; add in Pet lowfat milk, sugar and vanilla.
- Stir in warm lowfat milk.
- Gradually add in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min; reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 15 min longer.
- Pies are done when knife comes out clean.
