M & M Cookies Or Easy Party Cookies Recipe

• 1/2 c. Crisco
• 1 egg
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 1/4 c. granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 teaspoon water
• 1 c. and 2 tbsp. sifted flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 c. M & M plain chocolate candies

1. Blend Crisco and sugars.
2. Beat in vanilla, water and egg.
3. Sift remaining dry ingredients together and add in to sugar and egg mix.
4. Mix well.
5. Stir in M & M candies.
6. Drop from tsp.
7. onto ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 min or possibly till golden.
9. Makes about 3 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies.
10. For additional color press extra M & M plain candies into cookies before baking.
11. Some candies crack slightly in baking adding texture and interest to cookies.
