Tender Tasty Cornbread
- 34 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 14 cups flour
- 34 cup sugar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 tablespoons powdered milk
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine, melted & cooled
- 1 egg
- 34 cup water
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl; set aside.
- Beat egg till thickened; add water to the egg.
- Add to dry ingredients& mix till just combined.
- Add butter, and stir gently to blend.
- Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan- bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes.
