Candied Kumquats 5 Minutes in a Microwave for Osechi
- 1 packages Kumquats
- 3 tbsp Honey or soft light brown sugar
- Remove the stem and rinse well.
- Use a wooden skewer or toothpick to poke holes all over through the peel.
- Place in a microwave-safe bowl and sprinkle with honey or soft brown sugar.
- Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600 W for 5 minutes.
- Remove the plastic wrap, cool, and they're done.
- They look like this after they've chilled for 2 hours.
