Onion Salisbury Steak

  1. Shape the beef into 4 oval patties.
  2. Season each side with salt, pepper and 1/2 tsp onion soup mix.
  3. In a skillet, brown patties on one side, then turn and add onions.
  4. Cook until meat is no longer pink.
  5. Place toast on serving plates.
  6. Top each with onions and a beef patty; keep warm.
  7. Stir flour and remaining onion soup mix into skillet until blended.
  8. Gradually add water; stir in bullion.
  9. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
  10. Serve over meat and onions.
