Best Liver Pate Recipe
- 1 med. onion, finely minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 pound chicken livers
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Combine onion and Large eggs; blend at high speed.
- Add in livers and blend 3 min.
- Add in rest and blend on high till smooth.
- Grease 1-qt pan.
- Pour in pate and cover with foil.
- place pan in a pan of warm water.
- Bake 3 hrs.
- Serve with party breads.
